Hostinger is probably the most-searched hosting brand in India - and the only one that lists prices directly in rupees on its homepage, instead of USD. The intro deals look fantastic (Rs 69/mo!) but the real story is in what happens on year 2. Here’s the honest cut.

All prices below are the intro deal for a 48-month commitment on the sale page today. The renewal rate (after your 4-year term ends) is 3-6x higher - more on that in a minute.

The intro-vs-renewal gap - the thing most reviews don’t tell you

Every Hostinger review you’ve read tells you the Rs 69/mo price. Almost none tell you that you only get that price if you commit to 48 months upfront and that your renewal rate (year 5 onwards) is Rs 299/mo on the Single plan - a 4.3x jump.

Here’s what each plan actually costs in total:

PlanPay today for 4 yearsPay in year 5 for 4 more years8-year total
SingleRs 3,312Rs 14,352Rs 17,664
PremiumRs 6,672Rs 21,552Rs 28,224
UnlimitedRs 9,552Rs 31,152Rs 40,704

Honest takeaway: Hostinger is cheapest only if you treat the first 4 years as the “lock-in” and plan to either leave or renegotiate when the renewal hits. Many Indian hosting buyers don’t know this and quietly pay 4x more from year 5.

What’s in each plan

  • Single - 1 website, 50 GB storage, 1 free mailbox. No CDN. Fine for one small WordPress site or a personal portfolio.
  • Premium - 100 websites, 100 GB storage, 2 mailboxes per site free for 1 year, free CDN, basic AI tools. Weekly backups. The plan most Indian creators actually need.
  • Unlimited - 300 websites, 100 GB storage, unlimited mailboxes free for 1 year, AI email marketing to 100 subscribers free for 1 year, daily backups. Agency territory.
  • Cloud Startup - dedicated resources, 2x speed, priority support. For sites expecting more than 100k monthly visitors.

Honest view: Hostinger wins for Indian WordPress users who want easy setup, local currency and the lowest first-4-year total. Cloudways and DigitalOcean win if you’d rather pay a predictable price forever and don’t mind USD billing.

My recommendations

  • Portfolio / one WordPress blog: Single plan is fine. Rs 3,312 for 4 years is genuinely cheap. Just set a calendar reminder for month 46 to compare renewal options.
  • Newsletter writer, small agency, 2-5 WordPress sites: Premium is the sweet spot. The CDN alone is worth the upgrade.
  • Agency with 20+ client sites, email-marketing-heavy workflow: Unlimited with the 1-year free email marketing credit.
  • High-traffic blog or SaaS marketing site: skip shared, go Cloud Startup or move to Cloudways/DigitalOcean - the maths changes above 50k monthly visitors.
  • You want to leave in 2 years: pick the 12-month billing period instead of 48. The per-month price is higher but you keep the exit option. Hostinger doesn’t advertise this clearly - look for the “12 months” option in the billing dropdown.

How I checked this price

  • Opened hostinger.in/web-hosting from an Indian IP on 24 Oct 2026 (screenshot above).
  • Read every plan’s “regular price” and “renewal” small print at the bottom of each card.
  • Verified the 30-day money-back guarantee in Hostinger’s Terms.
  • Cross-referenced Cloudways (public pricing), DigitalOcean (public pricing) and AWS Lightsail India pricing on their own sites.
  • I don’t personally have a 48-month Hostinger plan running yet. This post is based on the public pricing page and Hostinger’s own documentation; a hands-on dashboard review comes once I provision a Premium account for a test site.

Last checked: 24 October 2026. Hostinger changes intro prices during sales. The renewal rate shown on this page is current but can change - always confirm in Hostinger’s checkout flow before you pay. Flag outdated numbers to hello@toolko.in.
