About
Why toolko exists
Most "best CRM" or "best tool" posts you read on Google are written by people who never used the tool, with prices in dollars and comparison tables that look suspiciously like the one on the vendor's page. toolko is the opposite.
How I rate tools
- I start with the vendor's live pricing page and sign up for free trials where available to confirm what's actually in each plan. Posts say "based on the public pricing page" when I haven't paid, and "trial-tested" when I have.
- I convert prices to Rs at the current mid-market rate, sourced each time, not a rounded guess.
- I write "it's wrong for X" paragraphs. If a tool isn't right for you, I say so.
- I never let an affiliate payout decide the ranking. If a tool I don't like pays the best commission, it still loses the comparison.
- I'm honest about what I haven't tested yet. Posts say "based on the public pricing page" when I haven't paid, and date-stamp every claim.
Who's writing this
I'm an Indian developer who builds SaaS tools on the side. I started toolko because every "best CRM in India" result I ran into was either AI-written or had prices in dollars with no attempt to help an Indian buyer. I'd rather read someone honest with 3 reviews than someone promotional with 300 - so that's the kind of site I'm building.
You can reach me at hello@toolko.in for corrections, tool suggestions, or to point out when I'm wrong.
